Training with the theme of "Science Laboratory Management for Teachers and Lab. Assistants" was held on Saturday, May 17, 2014, in Pudak Training Center - Bandung. It was the tenth training held by Pudak Scientific in this year.

This training was attended by 21 teachers from Bandung, Sumedang, Wonogiri, Majalengka, Cianjur, and Jakarta. The training was begun at 8:00 AM. Acting as the main speaker was Mrs. Dr. Yunita, M.Pd.

The event was begun with the explanation of five important components in managing a laboratory that include: organization structure, administration, safety, storage and maintenance of tools and materials, and utilization of laboratory equipment.

Dr. Yunita emphasized on the importance of science learning process which is based on practice not only theories. Therefore, it will not create an impression that the students are learning "the literature of science".

After delivering the theories, the activity was continued to practice session, which include:

• Fire extinguisher usage
• Maintenance of Chemistry tools
• Solution making from solid materials
• Using measurement yools
• Microscope maintenance
• Stomata observation

Our next training will be “Training of Teaching Aids Usage in Mathematic Learning Process”, which will be held on May 24, 2014. The speaker will be Dr. Stanley P Dewanto, M.Pd. (complete schedule).
